Julie has taught guest classes for us in the store and this month we are lucky to have her design the cards for this month's kit. There are instructions for 5 cards along with plenty of suplies to make many more. This month's kit features die cuts from Kanban as well as beautiful foiled paper from Alison Ellis. The kits are only $35 and can be ordered here.

GARAGE SALE - SATUDAY 11 SEPTEMBER We will be holding another Garage Sale on Saturday 11 September. So start clearing out your cupboards and your scrapbooking stash now! For those of you who haven't been to a garage sale before the idea is simple. You collect all your unwanted card, craft and scrapbooking supplies and price them up to be sold. You bring them in to us and we hold a great big garage sale where we sell all these unwanted goods to new homes. The money that you make selling your stuff is then converted into store vouchers to use in the shop. There is a small fee of $5 per seller to register and we will provide you with a form to complete. Registrations are now open so start sorting your stash!!! CHA CHICAGO There are 2 major tradeshows held in the US each year and the Summer (for the US) show starts next week. This is where all the new releases and new products for the rest of the year are shown. I will be away from the store next week to see what new things we "just have to have" I will be taking plenty of pictures and collecting lots of samples so if you are keen to see what is new - especialy for Christmas projects I will try and update my blog each night while I am there so you can see first hand just what is coming soon! NEW CLASS SCHEDULE AUGUST August is shaping up to be a very busy month for classes. We have lots of new projects to inspire you - including plenty of vintage and masculine themed projects just in time for Father's Day. Keep an eye out also for some more Christmas Cards as well as a new masterclass featuring spray inks like glimmermist and Smooch sprays. Our Christmas in July day booked out fast and was so popular we are running it again in August. Spots are already filling fast so if you are keen to get a headstart on your Christmas projects then book in quickly. The new Schedule can be viewed and printed here, or drop by the store to pick one up too! CLASSES THIS WEEK Wednesday 21 July 10am - 1pm Coffee and Cake Crop We have moved our regular Wednesday class to next Tuesday so will be running our coffee and cake crop this week too! Drop by and enjoy some crop time and morning tea. This is a great chance to get some help on any unfinished projects or simply have a chat while you craft! Thursday 22nd July 7pm - 9pm Cards That Slip and Slide - NIGHT CLASS Friday 23 July Custom Creations 10am-12pm Learn how to alter and adapt your embellishments. Dye ribbons and lace, use alcohol inks and or Copics to dress up acrylic and metal. We will show you how you can turn your ordinary embellishments into so much more. Cost: $12 Bring your own supplies or buy on the day
Saturday 24 July Fresh Floral Cards 10am-12pm Flowers are fabulous on cards as they work for so many occasions. This set of three cards all feature fresh floral designs that will make any recipient happy. Saturday 24 July Double Trouble 1pm-3pm This layout has double the impact! Double layouts can be tricky to achieve the right mix of unity and style. In this class we show you how to create a well structured double layout filled with plenty of unique and individual touches and most importantly room for lots of photos!. Cost: $22 includes papers of your choice
